How To Make A Great Resume and Get That Job Every Time

What most vWorkers or other outsourced people forget to do is to educate their customers on what it is they know how to do. What better way to show prospects what you know than to have a perfect resume of your background? Click Here to see Nick’s Resume

Your Resume: First, you need to write a small blip (about 100 words) about yourself, university, training etc. Nothing too grand – simply letting them know how you got to be so great at what you do.

Secondly: List all of the things you are capable of doing. If you are a programmer then list the programme code you know. If you are a writer, list some articles or books you may have written.

Third: Have a portfolio ready. If you have been in this industry a while then you will probably have your work scattered all over the Internet. Keep a simple list of this work to show prospective Buyers when you chat with them. You are not allowed to place links within your resume area.

Fourth: Have a recent image of yourself or of your coder name in your title. It just appears more professional, especially if you are a graphic artist.

Lastly, if your English skills are not up to par, then check Google Translate or ask a friend to check your English. Nothing is more frustrating as a Buyer than to check on someone who claim they understand everything but then come to find out they are not very good at English.
