Posting a successful project will go much smoother if you follow the following steps:

  1. Investigate your needs: know what it is you want with the end product and how possibly you may be able to change it in the future.
  2. Write out the things you want the project to have: list everything the project needs to do, needs to say, what colour it needs to be etc etc. Annotate everything.
  3. Write out a list of things that must be in the receivables: Example: “At the end of the project, the website must do this, this and this.”
  4. Write a list of things the vWorker must know: Letting the vWorkers know right away they need to know certain programming code or writing skill will show those coders you will be checking.
  5. Write a list of things a vWorker must have in terms of job completed: Example: “I will only hire those vWorkers who have completed 5 of these similar type jobs.

TIP: If in doubt about the vWorker you are conversing with, ask them to take the free test offered by vWorker. This will show you if they understand the programming material or not. As well, you can add this into your requirements.

Once you have all of your information – come up with a good title that includes the keywords of your needs. Example: “Need Website Coded in ASP” – this should prompt the coders familiar in ASP to respond to your advertisement.
